The song was written to comfort those w/lost loved ones and about a boy who was having bad nightmares. I can only presume that the man at the end of the video was the little boy's father comforting him while he was sleeping. Lots of interpretations going on here, but really can mean anything to anyone, just depends on your own perception of the song.

Yes and no,... at the beginning Amorphis was Death Metal... just Death Metal. With the time they took Progressive-elements into their music with Finish and Arab influences. Later they waived growlings (for most of the songs)... so now their music is like this. But so or so... just epic! :D

i agree with shutterbun2, i was in a marching band and enev though i played trombone i was put into a gaurd and we where taught a very basic form of what these guys are doing. and i remember all the times i got hit by the wooden guns they gave us, either i hit my self or someone else. these guys have the will power and self control that they fully trust each other with uncovered fixe bayonets, which i might add are usally very sharp.
